T-FRP002 GFRP Reinforcement High Quality Fiber Reinforced Plastic FRP Rod

The advantage of GFRP reinforcement glass fiber (non-metallic) reinforced core is that it uses electrolytes entirely, has a wide range of use, is resistant to various corrosion, has good compatibility with other materials of optical cables, has a long service life, and will not cause hydrogen damage due to metal corrosion, which will affect the transmission performance of optical cables. Non metallic materials are not sensitive to electric shock and are not affected by electromagnetic interference. They have excellent tensile strength, high elasticity, high bending modulus, and low elongation, and have a small specific gravity (about 1/5 of that of steel wire). The same size can provide a long coil length, greatly improving production efficiency and yield.

The Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic Rod is used as the Central Strength Member (CSM) in the center of Optical Cables.
