The stranded flame retardant optical fiber is housed in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic and filled with a waterproof tube filling compound. The tube (and filler) is wound around a metal center strength member to form the cable core. Plastic coated aluminum strip (APL) is longitudinally wrapped and extruded into a flame-retardant sheath to form a cable.It is Suitable For outdoor and indoor use in networks for telecom, cable TV and/or broadcast.
The stranded flame retardant optical fiber is housed in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic and filled with a waterproof tube filling compound. The tube (and filler) is wound around a metal center strength member to form the cable core. The cable core is armored with laminated aluminum tape. Then, an LSZH outer jacket is extruded. Plastic coated aluminum strip (APL) is longitudinally wrapped and extruded into a flame-retardant sheath to form a cable.

Outer jacket : Black LSZH material, fire retardant, oil resistant. Nominal outer diameter 15.2mm.
