30as Unit1/3.5 48 Cores OPGW Cable For Communication and Overhead Ground Wire

Fiber optic composite overhead ground wire (OPGW) is a type of overhead ground wire containing optical fibers, which has multiple functions such as overhead ground wire and optical communication. It is mainly used for communication lines in 110kV, 220kV, 500kV, 750kV, and new overhead high-voltage transmission systems. OPGW cable can also be used to replace the existing ground wire of old overhead high-voltage transmission systems, add optical communication lines, conduct short-circuit currents, and provide lightning protection. Special structures can be customized according to user needs.

Product Application

  • Communication lines in high-voltage transmission systems;
  • OPGW cable supports two-way communication. It also has functions such as real-time data exchange and smart meter reading.

Product features

1. The cable diameter is relatively large, and a large number of fiber cores can be designed;
2. Stable structure and high reliability;
3. The tensile strength and short-circuit current capacity are relatively large, which can achieve the best balance between mechanical and electrical performance;
4. The best twisted design can obtain the excess length of secondary optical fibers;
5. The number of twisted wire layers can be designed as two or three layers;
6. Single wire can be a combination of aluminum clad steel wire and/or aluminum alloy wire and aluminum wire;
