Semi-conductive water blocking tape made of semiconductive polyester fiber non-woven fabric, semiconductive adhesive and high-speed expansion water-absorbing resin. Its outer layer is semiconductive material, and the inner layer is a mixture of polyester fiber and hydrogel. This structure makes the semi conductive water blocking tape both conductive and water-resistant. Semi-conductive water-blocking tape uses high-quality semiconductor materials and electrode silver paste, has high reliability and can work for a long time. It can work normally under different temperature and humidity environments, and has good corrosion resistance. It can resist the erosion of various corrosive media such as acid and alkali, salt spray, heat, and banana water.
Application
1.It mainly used for wrapping of cable core and insulation surface for submarine cable. It has good swelling performance when encountering sea water and can quickly absorb sea water.
2.In the power industry, semi-conductive water-blocking tape is widely used in cable insulation, metal shielding layer binding, and cable joint protection.
3.In the petrochemical and chemical fields, semi-conductive water-blocking tape mainly used for metal pipe binding and corrosion protection. It can prevent corrosion inside the metal pipe, thereby extending the service life of the pipe. Semi-conductive water blocking tape for high-voltage cables is usually used between the high-voltage cable insulation shielding layer and the aluminum corrugated pipe armor layer to play the role of electrical connection, reduce the enrichment of the insulation surface charge, and thus reduce the possibility of partial discharge.
