GYTS 288Core Moisture Resistant Durable Steel Strip Armored Fiber Optic Cable
Categories Optical Fiber Cable, Outdoor Fiber Optic, Products
The structure of GYTS armored fiber optic cable is to insert 250 µm optical fiber into a loose tube made of high modulus material, and fill the loose tube with waterproof compound. The center of the outdoor armored fiber cable core is a metal reinforced core, and for certain numbers of optical cables, a layer of polyethylene (PE) needs to extruded outside the metal reinforced core. The loose sleeve and filling rope twisted around the center to strengthen the core and form a compact and circular cable core.
The gaps inside the cable core filled with water blocking fillers. Double sided coated steel strip (PSP) is longitudinally wrapped and extruded into a PE sheath to form a cable.

Feature of Armored Fiber Cable
- Has excellent mechanical properties and temperature characteristics;
- The loose tube material itself has good hydrolysis resistance and high strength;
- The tube filled with special ointment to provide critical protection for the optical fiber;
- Specially designed compact fiber optic cable structure effectively prevents sleeve retraction;
- Armored fiber optic cable has good compression resistance and flexibility;
- Special sheaths have excellent performance;
- Take the following measures to ensure the waterproof performance of the optical cable:
-Single steel wire center reinforcement core;
-Filling special waterproof compounds inside the loose tube;
-Complete cable core filling;
-Double sided coated steel strip (PSP) improves the moisture resistance of optical cables;
