Underwater Fiber Cable is for use in heavy-duty industrial applications where flexibility and durability is required. High tensile underwater fiber cable is designed for extra hard usage on industrial equipment, heavy tools, motor and welding leads, power extensions, portable machinery, sound equipment, portable stage lights, marine dockside power and mining applications. Constructed of color-coded synthetic oil, ozone and water resistant rubber (EPDM) insulation and an oil resistant thermoset chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) jacket, underwater cable rated for outdoor use.
Application
Underwater cables used in the telecommunications industry and offshore oil and gas industry. In addition, they also used in marine observation networks, local area networks (LANs), video, data, CATV and inter-office communication applications.
Underwater Fiber Cable Feature
- Single steel wire center reinforcement core;
- Fill the loose tube with special waterproof compound;
- Complete cable core filling;
- Plastic coated aluminum strip (APL) moisture-proof layer;
- Double sided coated steel strip (PSP) improves the moisture resistance of optical cables;
- Good water blocking materials to prevent longitudinal water seepage in optical cables;
- Underwater fiber cable has excellent mechanical properties and temperature characteristics;
- Single fine round steel wire armor enhances the tensile performance of optical cables;
- The loose tube material itself has good hydrolysis resistance and high strength;
- The tube filled with special ointment to provide critical protection for the optical fiber;
- Good compression resistance and flexibility;
- Ensure the waterproof performance of the optical cable;
