Special Multimode Optical Fiber for Distributed Temperature Measurement System

Distributed Temperature Measurement System Multimode Fiber (DTS-MMF) adopts advanced plasma chemical vapor deposition (PCVD) technology. The refractive index profile is precisely controlled to perfectly realize the preset waveguide structure. It has the characteristics of parabolic gradient refractive index distribution. By optimizing the profile design and process control, it ensures that the optical fiber has excellent optical and geometric properties in the long wavelength window (1300nm, 1550nm). Special coating materials and processes are used to achieve high temperature resistance.

1.Low attenuation of DTS working wavelength

DTS-MMF optimizes the attenuation of optical fiber at 1450 nm, 1550 nm and 1650 nm, so that optical fiber can be used for temperature measurement systems with longer distances;

2.1550 nm high bandwidth

According to the international standard IEC 60793-1-41-2010 (bandwidth), using improved bandwidth test equipment. The measured bandwidth of temperature multimode fiber at 1550 nm can reach more than 1000 MHz·km. It can effectively improve the spatial resolution of long-distance distributed temperature measurement systems;
