Synthetic Mica Tape

 

Synthetic mica is a large-sized, fully crystalline artificial mica. It is synthesized by replacing hydroxyl groups with fluoride ions under normal pressure. Synthetic mica tape is a mica paper made of synthetic mica as the main material, and then glass cloth is pasted on one or both sides with an adhesive. Pasting glass cloth on one side of the mica paper is called “single-sided tape”, and pasting on both sides is called “double-sided tape”. During the manufacturing process, several structural layers are bonded together. Then it is dried in the furnace, rolled up, and cut into tapes of different specifications.

Synthetic mica tape has the characteristics of natural mica tape. That is, small expansion coefficient, high dielectric strength, high resistivity, and uniform dielectric constant. Its main feature is high heat resistance, which can reach Class A fire resistance (950-1000 degrees).

The temperature resistance of synthetic mica tape is greater than 1000. The thickness is 0.08 ~ 0.15 mm to 0.15 mm. The supply width is 920 mm.

Double-sided Mica Tape

 

Double-sided synthetic mica tape is based on synthetic mica paper. Glass fiber cloth is a double-sided reinforcement material, which is bonded with silicone.
