GYDTA Ribbon Fiber Cable are constructed by placing single – or multi-mode fibers in loose tubes made of high-modulus plastic filled with water-blocking compounds. The center of the stranding fiber optic cable core is a metal reinforcement core. For some fiber optic cables with a number of cores, a layer of polyethylene should be squeezed outside the metal reinforcement core, and the loose sleeve (and filling rope) should be twisted around the center reinforcement core to form a compact and circular cable core. The gap in the cable core is filled with water-blocking filler. The stranded ribbon fiber cable is formed by a polyethylene sheath after two sided aluminum coated tape is longitudinally wrapped.
