Cat.7a ethernet cable designed to support Ethernet speeds up to 10Gbps, and lab tests have shown that they can reach higher speeds under certain conditions, such as over short distances. This speed is far higher than earlier versions of Ethernet cables, such as Cat6 and Cat6a.
Cat.7a cables feature a double shielding design, including an aluminum foil shield around each twisted pair and an overall cable shield. This design provides excellent protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI), ensuring stable and reliable data transmission.
Cat.7a cables contain four pairs of twisted copper wires that are wrapped in an aluminum foil shield for additional protection. In addition to the shielding around each twisted pair, Cat.7a cables also have an overall cable shield to further enhance protection against electromagnetic interference.
